Family Camps in the Algarve

Family camps at Algarve Sea Adventures are week-based, structured activity camps in the Algarve, Portugal, created specifically for families who want an active holiday with clarity, safety, and real learning outcomes. Each camp combines professional coaching with on-site accommodation, forming a complete and well-organised family experience.

All camps run for a minimum of 7 nights and always include accommodation at Quinta Formosinho, our calm family base with fully equipped self-catering apartments. Accommodation is an integral part of every camp, not an optional add-on, allowing families to stay together on site and build a relaxed weekly routine.

Participation in activities is mandatory for all guests, ensuring structure and progression throughout the week. At the same time, families are free to choose the type of activity that fits them best:

Surf Camp – family-focused surf coaching for children, parents, or both Climb & Surf Camp – a balanced combination of surfing and rock climbing Climb Camp.

All camps follow the same quality standards: small groups, experienced coaches, and age-appropriate instruction. Children benefit from close supervision and confidence-based learning, while parents value predictable schedules, clear communication, and measurable progress.

Our camps are designed as a flexible framework. Families can focus on surfing, climbing, or a combination, and seasonal specials and themed weeks will be added over time—always aligned with our family-first approach and high coaching standards.
