For over 10 years, we have been the Algarve’s only surf school fully specialised in family surf coaching, with one clear focus: quality through structure, safety, and small groups.
Our group and private lessons are built for parents who expect professional coaching and for children who need time, attention, and trust in the ocean. For kids under 13, we work with a strict 1:4 coaching ratio. This allows close supervision, faster confidence-building, and measurable progress from the very first session.

Group Surf Lesson

We offer two formats
Group Surf Lessons and Private Surf Lessons —both following the same professional framework. Group lessons take place in small, level-matched groups to maintain efficiency and safety, while private lessons allow full flexibility and 100% focus on individual or family-specific goals. No overcrowded line-ups, no rushed teaching, and no generic beach routines.
Our surf sessions are deliberately efficient and well-timed. We believe in “in and out” surf coaching: focused preparation, structured water time, and clear feedback—so energy is spent where it matters most. This approach is especially important for families with children, where timing, warmth, and attention make the difference between frustration and progress.

Surf Lessons on the West Coast
The west coast around Vila do Bispo offers some of the most consistent and versatile surf conditions in the Algarve. Open Atlantic swells meet wide sandy beaches with changing sandbanks, creating ideal conditions for structured surf lessons with clear learning objectives.
Our west coast lessons are designed for families and adults who value quality, safety, and measurable progress. Based on daily swell, wind, and tide forecasts, we select the beach that offers the most suitable and calmest conditions on that day.
Surf Lessons on the South Coast of Lagos
The south coast of Lagos offers sheltered surf conditions that are particularly well suited for families, children, and first-time surfers. Beaches such as Meia Praia, Porto de Mós, and Praia da Luz provide calmer wave energy, gentle entries, and clear beach structures—ideal for controlled and safe learning environments.
Our south coast lessons are designed for families who value structure, safety, and confidence-based progression. These beaches are often protected from strong north-west winds, making them an excellent choice on days when the west coast is more powerful or demanding. As always, the final beach choice is made daily based on swell, wind, and tide conditions.
