ASA was founded in 2014 – born out of a deep passion for surfing, climbing, and travelling as a family. Since then, we’ve been living and working where adventure, quality, and meaningful time come together.
We are a family ourselves. That’s why we truly understand how valuable time together is – and at the same time how important it is to keep pursuing personal goals, dreams, and passions. This is exactly where our philosophy comes from: Experiences that bring families together, while still leaving space for individual ambitions and desires.
Whether you’re travelling as a family or as a solo traveller focused on surf & climb, our concepts are designed to create intense experiences, personal growth, and unforgettable days outdoors. Flexible, high-quality, and shaped by a deep understanding of what really matters.
Who’s behind ASA?
Toto & Swantje
We are Toto & Swantje (nobody can pronounce that so Swanni). Even during our studies at the German Sport University Cologne, it was clear where our path would lead. Our van was always packed with surfboards and climbing gear as we explored Europe – chasing good surf and using every sub-optimal surf day to discover the climbing potential of the surrounding areas and fully dive into our second passion.
This dual love for surf and climb still defines us today.
With more than 25 years of experience in this field, we know exactly what works, what inspires, and what truly benefits both families and dedicated individual travellers. This experience, combined with our own family life, is the essence that drives us and shapes every one of our offerings.
ASA stands for real experiences. Time that matters. And a life shaped by surfing, climbing, and the freedom of being exactly where you want to be.
